This is held regularly at the beginning of the school year to acquaint students and teachers with the IMC staff, services, guidelines, policies, location and arrangement of materials, the use of OPAC, Internet, procedures on borrowing library and audiovisual materials and equipment.
The Library Information Literacy Program (LILP) is a quarterly library skills development for the students to help them acquire research skills necessary for proper utilization of ideas and information to become self-sufficient and independent life-long learners.

Library Instruction Storytelling is provided quarterly to young children from Kinder to Grade 2 to help them develop imaginative and creative thinking skills and to awaken their interest in reading. The pupils are provided with selected titles of storybooks after stories are told.
Students, faculty, and staff are allowed to borrow library materials for home use. The library adapts an open shelf system where they have free access to the volumes on the shelves.
It is a routine activity of the librarians and other members of the staff wherein students are given some suggestions and guidance in the choice of books and other materials for specific purposes and recommends substitutes or alternatives for books not available in the center.

All non-print resources can be borrowed and returned directly at the audiovisual center. Only teachers are allowed to borrow AV materials and equipment, however, students shall be allowed to borrow a cassette/CD player upon submission of a permission letter signed by the teacher.
